Nose reshaping with injectable fillers

Surgical rhinoplasty is used for treating nasal deformities. In some cases a non-surgical approach can be chosen with the use of fillers.
To obtain good aesthetic results and to avoid complications, it is of paramount importance that the doctor has solid knowledge of the nose’s anatomy and especially of its vascularization.
Hyaluronic acid has its own antagonist, the enzyme hyaluronidase, a substance that is immediately injected in the event of complications.
It is possible to intervene at the nasal dorsum by implanting hyaluronic acid to treat saddle noses.
The nasofrontal angle and the nasolabial angle can also be corrected; the angle between the nose and the mouth tends to decrease through the years, resulting in the descent of the nasal tip.
We can lift the tip using both hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin (off label).
